Week 25th’s weekend
To and fro the hospital during the weekends to visit my Granny. She had a surgery on her left knee, to straighten her bent legs. Just discharged yesterday and moved to my aunt's house to recover with care.
My grandparents have been in and out of hospital for the past 2 years. This isn’t a good sign, but I’m relieved they are fine.
The 2 days in hospital reveal lots of secret I’ve not known of. Well, adults’ issues are so hard to comment on. Shall not continue on this topic.
Friday night was my very first drinking session in pub. Was dragged by colleagues, and this was a very last minute thing. Didn’t expect we are so ON, almost all of us went. I was alittle reluctant to go as I was deadly slack that day, without any makeup on and ¾ pants. My colleagues named me ‘Beach Girl’, ya you can only spell it but not pronounce it~ =P
Before that we had a China feast recommended by my China colleagues. Yummy although it was quite oily. The food range was more to the spicy flavors, and it suits us just right.
Back to drinking session - Did not expect it to be so fun. We were fortunate to find a comfortable seat for 9 of us at HighLanders. It was located just beside the well known Clinic I ordered Singapore Sling. The liquor was not strong enough for me. I do not have any warm effect. My 酒量 was good! Haha. *Cough arose after that. Lol.
As usual, my rosy tomato face appeared after the drink.
Shockingly, we saw IBM’s GM and AP Lead at HighLanders too! With 2 ang mos, we guessed is the Clients…
Anyway, we created our own games and played throughout the night, while enjoying the Band performing there.
