Farewell... byebye IBM

27th June

This day marks the end of 1year 4months of life in IBM. Mixture of feelings just gushed me up. I can't use words to describe.

Came to this MNC company a year ago with a different batch of team-mates. They are more experience people and were really busy with their daily work. Not really sociable. But they still taught me well. The only substance that adds on to the politics is my boss.. I'm so depressed that period of time and fear to go to work. Soon, all the team-mates either resigned, or change role. The thought of resigning was strong for me. Motivation level = 0. But I'm glad i hung on...

My perseverance brought me on to meet these wonderful ex-colleagues (from today onwards). Is them who allow me to put colleagues and friends on the same level. No politics. Only patience, help, fighting spirit in work, to overcome whatever obstacles thrown to us. Almost all of them are fresh grads, hence, we clicked really well. Most importantly, boss works well with fresh grads.

Me, being the most senior in the team is now gone... But may my strength be with all of you to face all the challenges - with regards to the new boss.. haha.. I'm really sincere in this. I think only me and my team mates will understand the sticky bond we had. No one can break it! hoho..

Although Im the senior in the team, in terms of working months, but I'm still the baby in the team, in terms of age! haha. They dote me well. My last day yesterday was fun and surprising. They filled me with more unbearable moments. :(

Wednesday farewell was with boss, this farewell was actually confirmed. But the naggy new boss of theirs insisted on joining us, but we don't want. So we had to lie to him that this dinner was cancelled.
Thus, when we left the office, it was real thrilling! Eldon, Mark and I went to the lobby and hide behind the walll. Shirley, Isabelle and Flik bumped into the new boss on their way down! omg.. I think he suspected that something was going wrong. Even more white lies were made. That was terrible! But to avoid him, that was the only way.
Boss sat beside me during the dinner. Sianz half. He started to attack me with questions I do not know how to answer. The steak in front of me was indigestable.

Coincidently, it was Vernise one year anniversary in IBM.

Cutie Nicole forgot her memory card although she brought her camera. lol.

Also, we presented a video with our team memories to boss. Laughter filled the whole resturant.

Once again, thanks for the free dinner and the farewell card! For a moment i felt that tears were going to flow when i started to read their blessings. I managed to hold on, don't want to make the atmosphere so sad.

Yesterday's farewell lunch was on the new boss. Well, he is not officially my boss for any day, as his promotion will take effect of 1st July. Since he insisted, he paid for it, and we have to pretend that this is the only farewell for me. lolz. I chose fish n co as there is 10% for IBMers. We were pushing here and there as no one wants to sit next to the new boss. After some commotions, I finally sat the furthest from him *Relieved. Eldon again was right in front of me. Shared a Seafood platter with him. Guess what, all of us ordered 5 sets of Seafood platter for 2. yummy and filling. Again coincidently, it was Mark one year anniversary in IBM.
Well, I still gotta thank the new boss for the free lunch. hehe.

Back to office, and the touching video is here. They secretly bought me one baby G watch! That is so so so sweet and nice of them. I thought the farewell card and dinner was really good enough. They shouldn't have bought the watch. But i do very much appreciate their thoughts, that is why i always adore them :). Gave them each some sweetie toffees and biscuits and a love letter in the package. keke. I love u all! A little hug brightened my whole day! Many many tinge of sadness arose upon leaving the kaki bukit office.

Unfortunately Jiyi was ill, and forced to go home by new boss. So I missed a chance to snapshot with her. But sweetie pie Jiyi made this collage for me - our march celebration :) Surprised me when i check my email today.

Definitely miss working with you guys and gals, and look forward to working with them in future if given a chance.

Due to time constraint, i will show alittle photos and a video taken yesterday. Will go dig all the photos in ibm in the next blog, if i remember. =D
