Office politics sux...This week.. week 13 was bad.. BAD BAD BAD.. Never had i tasted such stress before. Neither in school or in work that i've came across. HAIZ..Been learning many many things that my work gets overloading. I'm actually doing 2 person's stuff. STRESS till tears just flow down. Sobz. I cannot take it anymore on thursday that i've boost my courage to have a word with my boss. I've told him the problems im having and that im feeling much much comfortable in the administrator position. He kept asking me to consider as he says that im doing very well and up to his expectation, and that this position will provide me with a good experience and better future.But i told him i don't feel this way. I just want a simple job that im happy with, i don't intend to give myself so much hope. At least for now. Im happy with a job in hand.Then, just now my team lead talk to me. Telling me the politics going on now. In short, boss is asking my colleague to leave as he felt that she again, not up to standard for a masters degree. omg lor.. Work really sux. A masters expect so high, im really getting afraid to get a degree lor, if next time the same situation happens to me how. Aiyo... And he is asking me opinion about my other colleague. He felt that she cannot handle well too. Oh dear... Office arrows are shooting here and there, even if its only once that you didn't notice or do well, you'll get shoot! =(Just when i was typing this entry, my boss ping me. Telling me his plan. He said that he will hire a temp taking my position for 6months, and within this one or two months, he will ask for my opinion and whether i want to continue doing. Aiya.. fan ah.. dun wanna talk about it anymore. Told my parents about it, and as usual, they will respect what i do. Which is i dunno good or bad.. haha.. Treat my parents for dinner as its their 20th wedding anniversary. hehe..Another sad thing. My grandpa is in the hospital again. =( Went visit him and he's like so poor thing. 3 tube of blood taken from an old man's body. Sobzzz... Hopefully he's alright again..All these things are suffocating me! Arghh...Hmm..Yesterday met up with yun, ju, yc, jer for a mixed talk. haha.. its ju's birthday.. But we gossiped alot. Found out many many hidden secrets after 3 years in poly. hahaha!And tomorrow is my granny's birthday. =) Everything will go well.....

21st Birthday!
Im 21!! Old and fast enough. haha..

Stayed overnight on 23rd. Slept on the floor. wahaha, that was how i sleep on the very first day of birthday. hehe, coz there wasn't enough bed.
The chalet's living was big enough for my families and friends. That's of course as we paid so much for it. haha.
K, firstly, my aunt and cousin came to look for us first, helping me with preparations. Jas came along after that. Haha, we played PS2 together, and off to ju's chalet. Fetched yc and yz there. hehe.. Hmm, a short stint there, but all i can say about that chalet is BIG. haha, its a bungalow house, with a little swimming pool. Yun, Sam, Antz joined in later. Capture some photos there and the clocks ticked 6. What worried my parents most was that the buffet that was delivered there wasnt enough! Kinda cheated by them, as we ordered 40pax, and what came was like only for 30pax. And my guest added up to be 50+ 60. Poor dad went changi village to buy somemore food, and ended up that my dad's food was gone. What left over most was the buffet. haha!
My dear gfs stayed! So sweet.. although can see that they are really tired, especially pm n jen, they got a cheerleading competition before that. And they won 3rd! Congratz! Appreciate them for accompanying me throughout the night~ They tricked me in finding a one and only scrap book dine made. *muacks.
Oh, and jas and dine made great friends with my beloved cousin, sze yuen. Thats so funny, they clicked so much. hahaha. She's so sweet lor, bought me a little soft toy with her pocket money. haha..
Us... 25th Mar morning, all sleepy faces.. hahahaha!
Back to my place, and relatives and friends started coming in. This is the time when im so so busy entertaining them that i hardly ate anything, and the funny thing is that i don't feel hungry at all. Kids were rather annoying.. especially 2 of my cousin's children, omg.. really a big headache. Can't stand them.

venting...
Haiz.. more responsibilities are piling up.
2days ago i've learnt something new im going to handle, and the next day, im suppose to present what i've learnt to the whole team! What is this!?! The main thing is, my boss never speak to me about my pay wise. I can't be getting the amount im getting now, and do tons of work im not really required as my current position. Money thing is always the matter. Arghh..Ok, u all may think that im money-minded, but that's all we're living for..
All the stress im taking up, i think im kinda nothing compared to my colleague. Remember the Masters-colleague, i feel that she's struggling too. Boss expectation for her is too much. She's only 2 weeks earlier than me, and boss expects her to know everything! And worse, he confronted her that he feels that she's slow in her progress, and hint that she's not suitable for this job. Really bu fu qi for her. I mean so what if the person's educational level is higher, it doesn't mean she learns things faster. I believe that everyone has their own pace of learning.She actually had another job offer which pays for 1k more than this job. I think she should just go for it. But one thing, if she quits, i think i have no one to complain to and to ask questions. Haha, she has always been my answer to most of the questions. I think she is more approachable compared to my other colleagues.
Ok, i've vented my anger out..
Yeah, it's my birthday tml! haha.. time flies.. 21st.. Thats kinda old.. =(

Stressing in Progress...
Sad.
Felt so depressed these 2 days. 5 meetings this week. Gone through 2, 1 conducting training from one of my colleagues. I've started learning the roles on what they've been doing. We have different topics assigned to different person specialised in that topic. But now, boss wants every individuals to know so as to solve the case fast. Arghh.. I'm a total newbie. Struggling very hard to catch up.
As u all know my boss perviously was a lecturer, he 'adores' shooting questions to make sure that u really understands. I mean, this is a good way of teaching, but STRESS to me. =( I wonder am i one stupid kind or im just slow in learning stuff. Zzzz, i guess i fall in that 2 categories. I need practical lessons to familiarise~
Haiz.. And this stupid HR amended my employee ID! U never know how troublesome it is! I need to reapply ids n pw for my intranet, SAP access, Sametime messaging. I'm like re-doing the things 3 weeks ago!Man.. tomorrow marks the first month for me in IBM.
Touched by my grandpa in the morning. He came to me giving me an ang bao for my birthday saying that he is very happy that i've grown up and started working. Kinda shocked to hear that from him. This reflects how bad i am as his grand-daughter. =(

Anyway, the all time favourites "Desperate Housewives" casts on channel 5. It's Season 3! Muahaha.. yeah yeah, getting as interesting each season. But a local drama series starring Linda and Joanne Peh, starting from next week is overlapping my show! Arghh, DP3 changes to 1030pm. Zzz, deprive my 30mins of sleep.
Dad is starting his Bus-driving course next week. Haha, 2 full weekends to get his bus license. Cool... Hopefully he gets it, and maybe 10years later when the IR is completed, don't be surprise to see my dad as the driver of the bus you board. *Grinz..

Heard her saying that "elegant" looking serene sia is still wearing suits. OMG.. haha, and that black face catherine's face is still as dark. =X muahahaha.. Think i'll never go back again. Will just save those great memories. =)

Oh.. My team lead spoke to me again. *Sweatz.. He asked me to negotiate my salary with boss if we happen to discuss it again. He says IBM has lots of budget, but just no head count. Sad. On the other hand, my senior gave me some advice. She asked me to persue my degree rather than taking up this job as if i planned to work long term in IBM, this job is good to climb higher. But if i'm only working short-term, its quite tedious.
Hmmz..Been looking through the MDIS website. Found this course, Degree in Business Administration not too bad, but the fees goes up to 12K just for 8 months. Well, that will use up all my savings! Arghh..

Bored..
OK.. Bored, right here in the office.. After 2 busy days, finally i have sometime to do personal stuff. hehe..
Meetings and meetings!! Arghh.. Every Mon and Tue for now. I've take over another team's work, making my workload x2.. Zzzz.. I find myself quite some problematic kid, coz i've been pestering my colleagues asking them stuff. lolz.
Regarding the job offer that my team lead ask me the other day.. Hmm, my boss talk to me about it again. After some thinking, i think i'm accepting it, although i'm not sure of the pay. Well, there sure will be increment, but of coz, more work! =(Anyway, shall talk about that when i really start that position. hehe..
Oh.. Shall gossip about my colleagues since i've got nothing to do now. wahahaha.. I got a Body Builder colleague - My Team Lead. He is really big size, but didn't expect him to be a body builder and really keen for competition kind. Those tanned huge guys which 'dip' themselves with glossy oils, making all kinds of poses and carrying weights. Yes, but he is now so fair! haha! And got to know he's quite a Cassanova. 18 gfs! Before he got married. wahaha.. His first baby is on the way..lolz And can see that he's really excited about it. Btw, he's an Chinese Indonesian who doesn't know how to speak chinese. Hmm, that's why sometimes i don't really understand his sentence too. I think he really separate work and personal stuff well enough. I can see the difference when he's at work and when we are having lunch.
Ok, since he had a wide range of friends, the other colleague of mine is still single. Haha.. we kept teasing her asking her to get one partner as she is 24 and hasn't dated any guys. But i think her education level is too high. By July she should be certified with Masters Degree. That's something i don't even smell it in my whole life. haha!
Ok, good gracious.. My brother bought an earpiece for 68 bucks and 2gb micro memory stick for 109 bucks. He must be damn poor now, at least half of his salary gone. LOL-

2nd birthday pressie.
Boss treated us coffee bean yesterday. Well, it was meant to be an offsite meeting. Hence, we went off early at 3pm to east coast park, -secretly- as we did a 'by left' thing. haha..
I hate meetings.. I don't understand why am I always included. I'm only an administrator, not the IT specialist. Arghh.. Obviously i can't answer question posted to me. =( Every monday's meeting and presentation feared me. But i believed i will do better each week? I hope..
My team lead wants to recommend me to be in their position, but i rejected. I think i'm not up to it. I'd just started off work less than 3 weeks time and i seriously doesn't know their job scope. My colleague nag at me as she thinks i've missed a good chance. Haha, but to me, i just want to start from scratch, learn from the minimal. My colleagues have all degrees and masters in their education. Thus making me can't really blend in their chatting topics. Anyway it doesn't really matter. Simple life makes me happy. =D
Idle at home the whole afternoon, searching for blogskins for more than an hour. But effort wasted off as I don't seem to see any nice ones...

Reached Vivo today at around 7pm. Motive - To use up this 100bucks Tangs voucher we kept for a year. hahaha! Mum planned to ask me to buy some new clothes for my birthday.. But Tangs... Too mature kind, nothing appeals me. Ended up buying a Guess wallet and a slipper that i don't really like. It's just the sake of accumulating the 100bucks. Anyway those are considered my 2nd birthday present-s-. heez.. No more wallets for me~
Cough has finally recovered! This time round is fast as i am too obedient. haha! I actually drank my medicine on time for that 4 days.. hehe...

Quake in my office
Shake shake! - Yesh, Sumatra having quakes and my office is obviously vibrating just before lunch time. At a first thought, i was wondering who was shaking my chair. But when i turn around, there isn't anyone. When i turn back, it was still vibrating! I'm feeling quite sick now and thought it couldn't be worse when everyone in the office started a big commotion. haha..
All of them evacuate to lunch!!
After lunch, an announcement was made saying that our office building is safe after some techical checking. But shortly after that, the office started shaking again. Zzz, and we are still on the mist of working. Haiyo, i dun wanna feel anymore vibrations, can you imagine the situation can be 100times bad in sumatra.
Oh, my brother got into the course he wanted in Singapore Polytechnic. Some Aeuronautical Engineering course, sounds chim to me.. haha

Sick. =(
Coughing badly and throat infection. Feeling just sux..
All because of that stupid korean restuarant i went with my colleagues last friday. Haiz, its freaking expensive and the food isn't nice at all. Never go to this place - East Coast Park, Beside the burger king drive thru. Zzz.. And we went during lunch time and i think the workers there are more than the customers there. Actually they wanted to eat jap food, but its fully occupied. Plus, there is an unpleasant smell in that resturant. After that meal, my throat started to battle.. Now, coughing my lungs out.
Ok, maybe the worsen of coughing is due to those irristable black pepper and chilli crabs i ate yesterday. lolz. Gathered at my grandma's house and there are tons of food! This is because my rich uncle strike 4Ds continuously for 4weeks. Yes.. A month!!! Omg.. how lucky can he be.. Lo Hei again, my fourth time in this 15 days of lunar new year. haha! Yummy..
Ohya.. I booked a chalet at aranda country club pasir ris for my 21st birthday. Finally, although there are some unhappy moments, but i shall not prompt into it.
Yup, and i hope that the people i invited will turn up as i did not invite many friends, just a few close ones. My family is big enough to occupy the whole chalet.. haha..
Yun's chalet was held yesterday too. Dropby in the afternoon. Jo was already there, making hand-made flowers for his mum.. haha, birthday the same day as my brother. Me, yz and yc started learning too, as we had nothing to do, but didn't really succeed in making although we made 2 each. haha, will post the photos up when i recieved it.
A shocking news came to me when ju arrived. She saw my ex-colleague and my ex-boss holding hands! OMG.. i can't really imagine man, an age gap difference of 11years. And to my impression, my ex-boss has a girlfriend.
Nothing is impossible.. hahaha! =X
